Day 1 Reindeer Farm Visit and Sleigh Ride & Northern Lights Tour

• On this tour you will visit one of the unique reindeer farms in Lapland. You will be introduced to the reindeer farmer’s everyday life and learn about everything there is to know about reindeer. The reindeer farmer will take you on a fun reindeer sleigh ride into the surrounding forest. There is of course plenty of time for you to take pictures with the reindeer.

• Back in town you will have some time to relax, refresh and have a nice dinner before it's time to head out for the fascinating Northern Lights tour. On this tour a professional guide will drive you away from the city lights to find the perfect location to watch the Northern Lights of Lapland. During the tour you will learn about the rare phenomenon and how to photograph it.

Day 2 Amethyst mine tour

• At the top of this ancient mountain stands the entrance to Europe’s only active Amethyst mine. There you will jump on the Amethyst Pendolino (a special kind of snow train), that will take you all the way up to the top! Once we reach the top you will discover one of the most scenic views Lapland has to offer! The guided tour at the Amethyst mine will take about 1,5 hours and you will learn all about Lapland’s very own gemstone and the mine’s core values on environmentally friendly mining. After the interesting tour is over you will have the chance of digging your very own purple Amethyst gemstone and taking it as a souvenir.

 
Day 3 Husky Safari

• Visit an ecological Husky Farm to be welcomed by a pack of huskies and their mushers. You will also learn all about the life of a husky musher and everything there is to know about the amazing dogs. As the main event of the day, you will be taken on a thrilling 5-10km Husky sleigh ride through the beautiful surrounding winter wonderland!

 
Day 4 Snowmobile Safari with Ice Fishing Experience

• On this tour you will be given all the necessary equipment and safety instructions for your snowmobile adventure. This safari takes you through the snowy forest, across frozen lakes and rivers to discover stunning winter landscapes and untouched nature. You will stop on the way, on a frozen lake where your guide will teach you how to ice fish like a true local!

Day 5 Snowshoes trip in the national park

• On this hike you will discover a true winter wonderland that would not be accessible on foot or skis. The snowshoes are designed especially for walking in the deep snow so even a thick layer will not stand in our way. This is an active tour that is designed to produce a sense of achievement as well as to bring tranquility and peace of mind. After the hike you will have snacks and hot drinks, in the nature, by a fireplace to keep you warm.
