The package includes three different types of guided tours in search of the Northern Lights. All the tours are scheduled close to the date of your arrival according to short term weather forecasts. Each tour is operated by professional Aurora Guides who know when and where are the best chances to spot the unforgettable light show you have on
your bucket list.
You will be taken away from the city’s light pollution deeper into the aurora zone. On these tours you will discover unique locations and special spots where your chances are higher to view and photograph the Northern Lights! If you don’t have your own camera with you, rest assured that your guide will take some memorable photos of you under the million stars and hopefully the Northern lights. This package is created to maximize your chances of seeing the magical Aurora Borealis.

Arrival: Arrival in Rovaniemi Lapland and check-in to central hotel

Day 1 Northern Lights Tour

In the city there will be some time to relax, freshen up and have a nice dinner before it’s time to head out for the excitingNorthern Lights Tour. On this tour you will be taken away from the city lights to find the perfect spot to view the Lapland Northern Lights. The direction and destination of the evening will be determined based on real time forecasts. The tour includes photos.
Day 2 Aurora Hunt by Snowmobile

Get ready to go on a special Snowmobile safari on the search for Northern lights. Once you arrived at the safari center you will be given all the necessary equipment and safety instructions for your snowmobile adventure. This night safari takes you through the snowy forest, across frozen lakes and rivers to a special location where you can see the northern lights. During the tour your guide will tell you all you need to know about the phenomena. Hot drinks and a snack will be served by the open fire.
Day 3 Guided Aurora Hunt

In the evening an experienced guide will pick you up in a minivan from your accommodation. On this tour you will follow the Northern Lights for hours. The guide works closely with forecasting apps that can indicate in real time where the phenomenon can be viewed. Weather is one of the most important factors to consider when hunting for the Northern Lights. You will visit several places depending on the weather forecast, to find clear skies or partly clear skies. With good planning and familiarity with factors that help determine when and where the Northern Lights might appear in the sky, there is a high chance that the hunt for the Northern Lights will succeed. The hunt includes photos.
